The Best Hair Tool I Use to Curl my Hair

Curling hair can be a task! For real though. It can be such a challenge to get the perfect curl. Luckily, I have found just the right hair tool for the job. Wanna know what it is? Keep reading.

This is how my hair turns out when I curl it. I get these soft mermaid-type curls that aren’t too tight or too loose. I don’t lose much of my long length and I get to add a lot of volume and movement to my locks. And the best part? It doesn’t even take long nor is it a hard style to accomplish!

So what tool creates this fab relaxed look???

The tool I use to curl my hair…

I’ve used just about every device that can curl hair: curling irons, auto-rotating curling irons, hot rollers, and even straighteners, but my favorite tool isn’t any of those. Are you scratching your head wondering what on earth it could be? It’s a clipless curling wand!

Why do I like curling wands so much more than the others?

  1. They’re quicker to use! You just wrap your hair, wait a few seconds, and let go. Less than 10 seconds will take care of each chunk of hair.
  2. The curls turn out beachy and more relaxed than regular curls.
  3. Curls start higher up, close to the roots, maximizing volume.
  4. No creasing!
  5. They don’t fall out over the day. The curls from a curling wand seem to last longer for me than the curls I get from a curling iron with a clip.

The particular wand I used for this look is the NuMe 25MM Classic Wand. It heats up to 410° F and has a 100% tourmaline-infused ceramic coated barrel. It’s perfect for medium or long hair lengths. It comes with a heat-resistant glove so that you don’t burn your fingers when doing your curls.

This is a great curling wand – not too big, not too small, sleek design. It’s lightweight so that holding it up doesn’t tire your arms, not to mention it’s easy to travel with.

This isn’t your only option though! There are tons of good curling wands out there that will help you achieve a similar look. Here are a few of them:

These are all wonderful options at different price points! No matter what the price though, I say you need to try a curling wand ASAP! You will be so pleasantly surprised with the beautiful results that you may never go back to a regular curling iron (I haven’t!).

Ashley- love Peek and Ponder… And love your curls. Wish I could find an ionic, tourmaline based curling iron, I find the traditional curling iron easier to use. I tried to do curls with a flat iron and I just don’t have the knack.
