When I got my vanity from Ikea 2 years ago, I started filling it with all of my beauty products right away. I didn’t have much of a system when it came to organizing each drawer and as I accumulated more products, things got a little out of hand. I was able to find some acrylic organizers but I didn’t have enough to keep things tidy. My lip drawer was among the messiest, so I finally took the time to declutter and straighten it up.

I was able to organize my collection enough that I’m not digging through one big pile of lipsticks and glosses anymore, but sadly, this task isn’t done yet. I need a couple more organizers to house the rest of my lipsticks and lip crayons. Still, major improvements were made and my drawer looks so much better. Here’s the lip gloss holder I have and here’s the lipstick holder.
I’ve decided to do this with all of my vanity drawers, making a series of videos showing the process of organizing. Next one….my eye drawer, which holds my single eye shadows, eyeliners, small palettes, etc. It’s just as messy as my lip drawer if not more so!
QUESTION: Do you like to keep a big collection of lip products around or just a few favorites that you stick with all the time?
