With blogging being the only thing I do job-wise, my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m lucky enough to be able to spend a day each week with my mom. The day usually includes lunch and shopping. Boy do we love to shop too! Today, was our day to get together and the first thing on our list…… food! We needed fuel before hitting our favorite shopping spots.
Mother-Daughter Lunch Date at Red Robin
There are multiple places we frequent for lunch and this time we settled on Red Robin. My mom loves their Arctic Cod Fish & Chips. Being the creature of habit that she is, she already knew she was getting it before we even parked! I have my favorite menu items too, but we still looked through the menu because they have so much to offer, including a bunch of new items! I can’t even believe how many burgers they have, but it’s also nice that there are so many non-burger options too – something for everyone.
Conversation between my mom and I at lunch is always all over the place. With good food/drinks and a fun yet comfortable atmosphere we lose track of time! We got to talking about our upcoming family reunion, the latest on Facebook, and planning for a mother-daughter trip to Vegas. And as usual, we shared a few good laughs too.

After satisfying our hunger, it was time to move on. We didn’t get to shop as much as we normally do because my mom has been feeling under the weather. It didn’t stop us from taking a peek at Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works though!
