It’s the end of January, the weather is Spring-like here, and I’ve got a beauty box review to share! Today, I’m showing you my Beauty Box 5. This box had a well-rounded variety of beauty products. Keep reading to see what was in it.
Coastal Scents | Eye Shadows
A 4-shadow sampling of orange and gold shades. I’ve had Coastal Scents eye shadow palettes before and I loved them for experimenting when I was less experienced with makeup. I don’t use them anymore. These are pretty colors though.
Sally Hansen | Salon Effects
Nail polish strips that are meant to last up to 10 days. I have some other Sally Hansen strips but I’ve never actually used them. I have used other nail strips though and I’m willing to try these out. I like that they’re pink. They remind me of cow spots.
Ultraflesh | The Gold Standard Mascara – Blackout
Mascara that creates thicker, more dramatic lashes. I like this mascara a lot. It adds volume to my lashes and fans them out nicely. The unfortunate part is that I only see it for sale on Amazon. After doing some research, it appears to be discontinued. I like to buy mascaras that are readily available, so I don’t think I’ll be buying more.
Softsoap | Nutri Serums Vitamin E Body Wash
Moisture-rich nourishing body wash. The scent is very fresh and I can see myself taking it on a trip. It contains softening serum pearls. This is something I would’ve never picked up for myself, but I think I’m going to like it.
Garnier Fructis | Daily Care Fortifying Shampoo
Strengthening shampoo with grapefruit antioxidants and proteins. I love that this is a travel-sized product and not a foil packet. It has an energizing fruity scent that is typical of Garnier products. I always love their scents. This will also be great for travel.
Overall, this was a good box. I like that it had a couple travel-sized products and even a full-sized one (the nail strips). There was nothing that I actually disliked. The only thing I might not be using is the eyeshadow. The rest will definitely be used.
