It’s my last beauty box of the year! I’m excited for the new year to start and to see what my beauty box subscriptions have in store for me next year! Here’s my Beauty Box 5 for December.
Jaqua | Bath & Body Collection
Hand and body lotion with a pink champagne fragrance. This lotion feels great on my skin but the fragrance is too much for me. Pink champagne sounds like a luxurious scent but it isn’t too appealing to me. I would prefer it to be more fruity. They do have one that’s buttercream frosting – I could handle that!
Absolute! New York | Nail Polish Remover Pads
This little container has 32 acetone-free pads that remove nail polish. One pad is supposed to remove polish from all ten nails. It’s available in different scents but mine is Spring Fresh. These pads are pretty small and thin. I found them to be a little messy and I had to use a few of them to take off all of my polish. It’s not my favorite way to remove polish but I wouldn’t mind using them while traveling. The scent is pleasant too.
Juice Beauty | Stem Cellular Moisturizer
This moisturizer is ideal for wrinkles, fine lines, and sun damage. It hydrates skin while increasing cellular turnover to renew and replenish skin. It has a citrus scent that I am obsessed with. I’m pretty excited about this product. I hope I don’t fall in love with it though, because the full size is $65!
Nanacoco | Nail Polish
Beautiful sparkling silver glitter polish. With a name like Diamond, I was hoping this polish wouldn’t disappoint. It didn’t! I love that this polish has both big and small glitter. I’m definitely going to wear this for New Years Eve!
Lucky Brand | Lucky Number 6
A floral fragrance with notes of Tiger lily, Jasmine, Lotus, and Peony. I don’t mind it, but it’s not a scent I would typically go for. I like it….for someone other than me. I usually pick more fresh and fruity scents.
Overall, this box wasn’t bad, but not quite as good as some of the others I’ve had. That’s just the nature of these boxes; you’re not always going to completely love everything inside. It’s still fun to open the box every month to discover what you got. My favorites of the box were the nail polish and the Juice Beauty moisturizer. They’re both pretty awesome products. The only thing I disliked in the box was the champagne-smelling lotion. It just didn’t do it for me.
