Tarte Chic to Cheek

After browsing around Ulta the other day, I found myself scoping out the gift sets. That area sucks me in so bad! Among the sets was this pack of Amazonian clay blushes from Tarte. The gorgeous packaging made it so I couldn’t resist. My hand reached out for it and that was it.

 Tarte | Chic to Cheek

Deluxe Amazonian Clay Blush Set

Retail: $35

This set comes with 4 limited-edition blushes:

  • Amour
  • Classic
  • Prim
  • Daydream

The blushes give up to 12 hours of wear with no fading.  They’re housed in beautiful compacts with gorgeous gold designs on the lids. The whole package is so appealing that I’m not sure who wouldn’t want this gift set. Something to keep in mind is that each blush is smaller than a normal Amazonian Clay Blush from Tarte.

I’ve been wearing these blushes almost exclusively since I got them. All of the shades are very pigmented and can be applied with a light hand and built up for more intensity. They’re natural-looking shades that add a nice glow to the cheeks. I don’t mind that they’re small versions and the price isn’t bad at all. I think this set would make a perfect gift for birthday or Christmas. It’s affordable, it’s pretty, and it’s ideal for any makeup enthusiast.

Which one is your favorite?  I like Amour and Daydream the most!

I think all of these blushes are great for any age. I have to say though, when I first got into makeup (middle school), I was not interested in wearing blush at all! It wasn’t until after high school that I started wearing blush on a regular basis. Now, it’s one of my favorite things to buy. What age did you start wearing blush?
