Did September fly by or what?! It’s time to show you my Beauty Box 5. A good range of products came in this box, including a few full-sized items! I always like to see some of those in my boxes!!
Here are the contents of my box for this month….
Sally Hansen | Toe Spacers
You obviously know what these are for and you probably have some laying around. I have misplaced mine, so it was nice to see these in my box. I always love getting a useful product, even if it is something I could easily buy. I’ll be using these spacers next time I paint my toe nails!
My Beauty Spot | Nail Polish
…And here’s the polish to go with the spacers! This polish comes in a set of 6. The shade I got is a dark grey with a slight shimmer and a matte finish. This will be a good color for Fall and Winter.
Natural Style by FUBU | Deep Conditioner & Co-Wash
I got 2 packets of this hair treatment. It can be used as a co-wash or a deep conditioner. It helps minimize frizz. I’m a fan of any product that says it will help tame frizz. I’ll keep it around to try it out, but it’ll be hard to tell if this product will be good in the long term.
Nicka K New York | Eyelight Crayon
This crayon is a creamy shadow stick that can be used as a liner, overall lid color, or as a base. I was given a pretty purple shade, Violet. When I swatched the stick on my hand, it showed up as a wash of color. It didn’t look as bold as I had hoped it would, but it also wasn’t too light. I think this would work best as a base color.
LASHEM, Chrislie Formulations | 3-in-1 Eye Bright
This is a serum that smooths, brightens, and firms the eye area. It reduces dark circles, redness, and puffiness. I don’t get dark circles under my eyes, but I do like to keep that area looking bright and fresh. I’ll definitely be trying this sample and it looks like there is enough to use it a handful of times.
Overall thoughts
I’ve been really liking Beauty Box 5 lately. I always find a good mix of products in each box. This box covered a few categories: makeup, hair, nails, and skin care – I love that! My favorite product of the box is the nail polish!
