Throughout the years, I’ve become more interested in skin care. I’ve tested a lot of products: from facial scrubs to at-home microdermabrasion tools. I’m still trying many new products because there are just so many out there! Every once in awhile I come across skin care products that are truly luxurious and worth the splurge. This serum is one of those.
About the Royal Elixir Facial Serum
This elixir is made with fresh Royal Jelly from African bees and organic Italian honey. It has anti-aging and toning properties. It helps aged skin look more youthful. It even helps alleviate signs of tiredness.
My thoughts
I’m still in my 20’s, so I don’t necessarily need anti-aging products for the purpose of making my skin look more youthful. I do, however, think it’s a good idea to use these types of products to keep my skin looking how it does. So, while I may not have what is considered mature skin yet, this serum is still great to use!
The packaging of this product is so luxurious. It’s very fancy! The bottle looks great sitting on my vanity. I was hoping the serum itself was as amazing as the packaging – and it is!
Consistency and Wear
The serum is not heavy at all. It’s thin and lightweight. I feel like it just sort of melts into my skin when I apply it. It doesn’t feel wet or greasy either. It has a bit of a glistening quality with very faint golden shimmer. You have to really look closely to see it and it just gives your skin a bright glow.
Changes in my Skin
I started applying this at night and I saw a difference right away. I noticed that my skin looked and felt a lot more hydrated. It was very smooth and less textured. After using it for awhile, those things just kept improving. My skin is in the best condition it has been in for years. It’s really incredible and exciting. I think this elixir is really helping. My skin is bright, hydrated, and smooth, where it used to be dull, textured, and dry. I can’t wait to see even more improvements as time goes on.
Do I recommend it?
If you’re willing to splurge, absolutely! This could very easily be a holy grail skin care product. I was extremely surprised by it. I had no idea it would be so incredible!
